The W Hotel and Residences will be a 450 room and 24 Residence 5 star luxury resort on the north end of the Haitang Bay Sanya Hainan Island China. It will be W Hotel’s first beach resort in China. The luxury hotel will have all of the amenities one expects from the W Hotel brand including Restaurants and Bars, Conference Facilities and a Destination Spa.
The architecture of the resort reflects the dynamic spirit of the W Hotel brand. Conceptualized as a top down experience and inspired by the tropical location, the hotel is designed as a primarily open air guest experience with the Registration lobby on the top floor of the building.
The building materials are metal, glass, stone, stucco, and accent woods. Interior Design and the Landscaping throughout the property will be regionally inspired tropical drawing from the surrounding natural landscape and wetlands.
The hotel construction is scheduled to begin late 2015 and open early 2018.
